Mysore is the deemed Yoga Capital of India and the Globe. A large number of Yogic schools and research centers are in Mysore, thanks to eminent Yoga teachers like, Sri B.K.S. Iyengar and Sri Pattabi Jois who spent a major part of their life for spreading Yogic science, which has led Mysore to be the Yoga capital.
